The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh will hold its fourth annual Big Night, Party with the Presidents, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Irene Kaufmann Building, 5738 Forbes Avenue, Squirrel Hill.

In the spirit of previous Big Night fundraisers, Party with the Presidents will be a fun and accessible community oriented event. Last year's Big Night: Showtime at the JCC, held at the height of the economic downturn, was attended by close to 700 guests and raised $110,000 that greatly benefited the JCC's scholarship fund.

Requests for financial aid from JCC members continues to grow. This aid is critical to many individuals and families, enabling them to participate in vital JCC services such as child and after-school care, camping, and programs for seniors and individuals with special needs. Big Night plays a huge role in raising these funds while providing supporters with recognition and the opportunity to be part of an important community event.

This year's Big Night celebrates the JCC's Board Presidents-the men and women who have steered the agency through times of societal upheaval and economic turbulence, and through agency growth and change. Their vision, skill and leadership have made the JCC the dynamic, responsive and inclusive agency it is today.

JCC's Big Night: Party with the Presidents will not be politics as usual. Party with the Presidents will celebrate the JCC's great leaders with beyond-the-Beltway fun including outside-the-box delectable food, talk-of-the-town socializing, and special entertainment provided by The Capitol Steps - the musical comedy troupe that spoofs all things political, sponsored by the Hyman Family Foundation.
