April Fun Days

Friday April 18
Crazy Concoctions

Things get gooey when Clubhouse's own April Ginley shows us what we can create when we mix slimy with gushy, blend sticky with icky, and mash grimy with mushy!

Tuesday April 22
Carnegie Museum of Natural HistoryTour

History comes to life as we journey through our past to explore lost civilizations and discover creatures that ruled our world before us!

Wednesday April 23
Why We Celebrate

Join us for fun and games in observance of Passover! We will make cool crafts and enjoy yummy treats to provide deep understanding of this special time of year.

Thursday April 24
Animal Rescue League

We all love our pets! The good folks at the Animal Rescue League will teach us how to care for our companions and give them a lot of love.

We will also get to meet some of their furry friends!

Friday April 25
Weird Science

Test the laws of gravity and exceed all boundaries faster than the speed of light! Theory will collide with scientific fact on this day of extreme experimentations!

Monday April 28

Artist Conrad Quesen will ignite a creative vibe that is sure to bring out the artist in all of us! Limitless possibilities abound as we master the art of printmaking. Bring an old t-shirt or article of clothing to further express yourself!

About Us

The JCC Clubhouse combines top quality facilities with trained, caring, creative staff. We offer a wide variety of fun and stimulating activities for children in grades K-7 in our tournament-size gyms, heated indoor swimming pools, age-appropriate homerooms and in our various clubs.

Clubhouse is a member of the Peer to Peer Network of after-school providers associated with YouthPlaces and A+ Schools. Our goals are to stay abreast of best practices and to bring unique and interesting experiences to our children.

Each day, children are met at their buses, escorted to their home rooms, given a healthy snack including fruits and vegetables, and assisted with homework. They choose from a wide variety of clubs each day, including Cooking, Back Yard Adventures, Friends Around the World, Construction Zone, Drama and Goofy Games. We visit the library, celebrate Shabbat every week and nurture the emotional, physical and social well-being of your child.

Transportation

Free transportation is provided by Pittsburgh Public School buses. JCC vans from select schools are available for an additional fee.
