Class Descriptions:
ALEXANDER: Alexander is a technique of body reeducation
and coordination, which focuses on the self-perception of movement. The
technique is taught in lessons, during which students, guided by the
teacher, inhibit habitual reactions and instead find newer and more
efficient ways to perform simple tasks, like walking, standing, and
sitting.
20/20/20: Twenty minutes each of; Bench, Strength and
"On
the Ball."
CARDIO BLAST: A high energy, fast-paced workout that
builds strength and cardiac endurance.
GROUP CENTERGY: A 60-minute journey of yoga and pilates while moving to music, designed to help you center your energy, reduce stress and smile.
GROUP POWER: Sixty-minute barbell program that
strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group
environment with simple athletic moves such as squats, lunges, presses
and curls. For all ages and fitness levels.
GROUP KICK: A 60 minutes fusion class of
martial arts
and boxing movements.
INTERVAL BENCH: High-intensity bench or aerobics
alternating with intense muscle toning segments. An advanced and
challenging workout.
PILATES: Improve strength, flexibility, coordination and
posture, creating a body that is long and lean, with flat abdominals
and a strong back.
GROUP POWER 101: Learn the basics, get some one-on-one
attention, perfect your form, see results (second Thursday of every
month).
SENIOR AEROBICS: An exciting, upbeat aerobics class for
older adults. Class consists of low-impact aerobics, stretches and
toning exercises for legs, arms and waist.
SPINNING: A cardiovascular workout performed to music on
a specially designed stationary bike. A challenge for the body - a ride
for the mind.
YOGA: Learn the essence of relaxation through stretches,
postures and improved breathing techniques. This is more than just a
class that improves strength and flexibility. It is an idea and process
that you can take and do anywhere.
POWER YOGA: An invigorating practice of yoga in which
the poses flow with a controlled meditative breath. The focus is on
full body movements for strength and balance aiming toward a clear and
relaxed mind (intermediate to advanced).
ZUMBA: Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting and
unique Latin moves and rhythms.
