Are You What You Eat?

Our dietitians can help you lose weight, feel better and develop healthier habits for life!

  • 10-week Weight Management Program: Erin Modliszewski, Registered Dietitian, will provide you with a customized meal plan, personalized weekly goals, and one-on-one and group support to keep you motivated. Our program of 10, one-hour nutrition seminars promotes healthy eating habits and weight loss and management. Sessions include meal plan review, confidential weigh-ins, nutrition education, shopping guides and more. Class meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. starting May 29. Members, $120; non-members, $150.
  • Distance Dietitian: Reach your nutritional goals via email! Meet with Caroline Whitby, Registered Dietitian,. for an initial 30 minute session to obtain anthropometric information, discuss health goals and learn about the program. Weekly follow-up emails will include tips/lessons, food records and questions and feedback from the previous weeks records and questions. At the end of the month, there will be another meeting to evaluate progress towards goals and decide appropriate follow-up. Initial session is scheduled by appointment. $60/month.
  • One-hour Personal Nutrition Counseling: Sessions include information and educational materials tailored to your concerns and goals. One hour, $40; ½-hour follow-up, $25; one hour/two individuals/family, $55.
  • Nutrition Counseling/Personal Training Session: Counseling followed by a workout program to complement your dietary changes. One hour, $60.

Our Dietitians

Erin Modliszewski, R.D., LDN is a Registered Dietitian who provides one-on-one and group nutritional counseling from birth to seniors on topics including weight loss and weight management, sports nutrition, eating disorders and disordered eating habits, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, pre- and post- menopause and more. Originally from New York State, Erin has worked in a variety of health care settings.

Caroline Whitby, R.D., L.D., earned a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition, and a B.S. in Psychology. She has done coursework for an M.S. in Wellness and Human Performance, at Pitt. She has worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Valley Health and currently is a Clinical Dietitian at UPMC Presbyterian.
