This exercise program using hand-held weights, resistance bands and balls is free to seniors who use Highmark® Security Blue, Freedom Blue, or Medigap Blue as their insurance provider. Participants receive a general membership to the JCC which includes the walking track, pool, weight room, and general locker rooms. Advance registration required.May, 2008
SilverSneakers® I: Muscular Strength and Range of Movement. SilverSneakers® II: This is a more intense workout designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance. The SilverSneakers® group exercise class SilverSneakers® IMuscular strength & Range of Movement is a core class for older adults. It is designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination and to improve participants' functional capacities, physical fitness level, and sense of well being.The SilverSneakers® group exercise class SilverSneakers® IICardio Circuit is an advanced class for older adults. It is designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance capacity as well as agility, balance, and coordination.Strong SeniorsChair assisted with weights. Wednesday's 10am in Levenson Hall. - This class is chair assisted for stability.Yoga StretchThis class is chair assisted for stability.
