New Class: Mindfulness in Eating

Mindfulness in eating empowers us to discover and change our unhealthy habits and behaviors around food.

In this class, we will experiment with and explore mindfulness techniques to support you in achieving the weight loss you want. We will include in-class exercises in mindful eating, group discussion, and practical assignments that you can do at home to help you achieve your goals.

Instructor Deborah Brooks MS, RD, LDN, is a registered dietitian and licensed dietitian-nutritionist who specializes in both weight loss and mindful eating. Deborah is also a meditation instructor and offers both individual nutrition counseling and classes at the JCC.
