Meet Dr. Scott Rosen, Clinical Director at ACPT at the JCC
Dr. Scott Rosen, Physical Therapist, is the clinical director at ACPT’s newest Squirrel Hill Office located in the Jewish Community Center. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. Dr. Rosen, is a 1997 graduate from Chatham College and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993. He maintains professional memberships with the American Physical Therapy Association and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Rosen was a three time University of Pittsburgh Baseball Varsity Letterman. He has participated in four World Maccabiah Games in Fast-Pitch Softball, where his team won one gold medal and three silvers. As a practicing physical therapist, Dr. Rosen has a special interest in manual therapy, orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He and his assistant, Kristin Siksa, are excited to serve the community in and around the Jewish Community Center.
Physical Therapy is appropriate for many injuries, conditions and disorders; from total knee replacements to ankle sprains and balance problems to low back pain. The Squirrel Hill office also offers aquatic therapy for those patients unable to perform land-based exercises. A consultation consists of a 10-15 minute session to determine whether or not a complete evaluation is indicated.
