J Days 

Each day includes free swim, sports of all sorts, arts and crafts and more! Have your child bring a dairy lunch, swim suit and a towel every day. 


9 am-4 pm


Registration is required by 5 pm of the previous business day to received a $10 discount. 

$5 discount for all current Clubhouse Members

$5 walk-in fee

Before Care (7:30-9 am) No charge 

After Care (4-6 pm): $12/day for non-Clubhouse members 


March 7: Magical Mystery Tour

Join us at the JCC for a day of mystery surprises and fun! Participants will solve puzzles, create a mystery cooking recipe and much more. 

Snow Day J Days( grades PreK-6)



Snow J Days 
When your child's school is closed, the JCC is open! Children participate in Sports of All Sorts, explore their inner artists when making unique art projects, put on their chef hats and make no- bake recipes, participate in  free swim, and more! Snow days equal fun days at the JCC!

$30 per person

$25 for current Clubhouse families

Before care (7:30-9am)no cost

After care (4-6pm) $12/ person for all non Clubhouse families

Pre-registration is not required. 

Children should bring a dairy lunch, bathing suit and towel.  

The Sandy and Edgar Snyder Family Purim Carnival,
Come dressed as your favorite character for a fun-filled afternoon including a special performance by Gemini Children's Theater, a photo booth, hands on fun with the Carnegie Science Center and other community organizations. 
There has NEVER been a Purim Carnival like this before! 
Sunday, March 16 
2-4 pm: Carnival
4-4:45 pm: Special Performance by Gemini Children's Theater 
Unlimited Play Pass (includes show): 1/$10; 2/$18; 3/$36; or 4 tickets for $1. Show only: $5/person


Sunday Fun Days: PreK-grade 3 

March 23 

1-2 pm: Kids in the Kitchen

Kids will channel their inner chefs and create no-bake recipes and decorate chef aprons. 

Grades PreK-3


2-3 pm: JCC Jewelers

Participants will love making their own jewelry! Beaded bracelets, earrings and necklaces are just some of the possibilities. 


March 30

1-2 pm: Cartooning with the Toonseum

Bring your imagination to life with the help of the Tonnseum! Kids will make their own characters and experience a day in the life of famous cartoonists. 


2-3 pm: Imagination Station with the Children's Museum

Participants will experiment with an array of print making techniques in this class. They will use unexpected techniques and create endless possibilities. 


April 6

1-2 pm: Detective Science Workshop with Mad Science 

Children will use science to crack a case! The crime happens just before the Bustertown bake-off. Mr. Baker's big, fat, chewy chocolate chip cookie is sabotaged and his recipe is stolen. Analyzing all the evidence is what helps pinpoint the perpetrator. 


2-3 pm: LED making with Assemble

Join Pittsburgh's coolest art space and learn to create wearable LED/circuit jewelry & associates with flair! Children will explore how electricity travels through a circuit with LEDs, batteries, wire and clasps and learn about STEM topics while expressing themselves creatively. 



All 3 weeks: $70/members; $90/community 

2 weeks: $55/members; $60/community 

1 week only: $30/members; $35/community 


Kids Nite Out: PreK*-grade 6 

Enjoy a Saturday night out while your child has fun with us! The evening includes dinner, sports, crafts, swimming and a movie. Children will be grouped by age. 

PreK-6 and all PreK children must be potty trained. 


Out on the Town: Children grades 2-6 will be going to Funfest for an evening of bowling. Children will eat dinner at the JCC and be transported by bus to Funfest. Children will return to the JCC by 9:30 pm.  


Children in grades PreK-1 will stay at the JCC for an awesome "Around the World" program. 


Cost: $36/community; $31/Clubhouse member; $9/siblings; $5 additional walk-in fee. 
$5 additional activity fee for Out on the Town.

How to Host a Family Friendly Seder

Join Rabbi Donni Aaron for a Passover How To! The JCC will be giving ideas on how to incorporate family members of all ages into a Seder you will never forget. Light snacks and Seder give-a-ways will be provided.
