The JCC Wins Six Awards
JCC of Greater Pittsburgh Wins Six Awards from JCC Association
The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh won six JCCs of North America Biennial Excellence Awards, awarded at the Biennial held in San Diego, March 28 to April 1.
Three are Zahav Awards, which recognize outstanding, visionary initiatives with maximum impact or potential for change. The JCC’s winning entries in this category related to capital and marketing planning, and the recent $2 million renovation of the JCC’s Early Childhood Development Center in Squirrel Hill, an exciting transformation of ECDC’s learning environment.
The three Kol Ha Kavod Awards, which recognize exemplary initiatives that can be replicated by other JCCs, were based on initiatives to improve customer service and strategic planning, and to build the JCC website’s searchability.
