Dig your boom box out of the closet: We’re lining up the colors on our Rubik’s Cube for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh’s seventh annual fundraising event, JCC Big Night: Time of Our Lives. It will be a big hair evening as we celebrate the ‘80s decade in all its shoulder-padded glory on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Irene Kaufmann Building in Squirrel Hill.

Get stoked to have a blast reliving the decade that brought us Madonna, breakdancing, Pac-Man, personal computers, the Walkman, Care Bears, Seinfeld, ET and Fame. This “Just Want to Have Fun” fest will be loaded with wicked music and “Dirty Dancing,” bodacious amusements and awesome eats. We are honoring PNC Bank for its outstanding support of the JCC. This is the fourth consecutive year that PNC Bank has been Presenting Sponsor for Big Night. While we’re in party mode, this is our chance, as Bill and Ted put it, to “Be excellent to each other,” with a phenomenal fundraiser that benefits the entire community. Big Night raises a large portion of the JCC’s Annual Fund for scholarships and to support critical programming such as child and after-school care and special needs and older adults programs. Corporate and individual sponsorships for Big Night, as well as the goodwill produced by the event, provide vital support for the JCC year-round.
