The Personal Training Team at the JCC is a group of dedicated fitness experts with various experience and expertise ranging from personalized routinue development to sports conditioning.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods.

Healthy Heart Phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation

Teen Fitness Certification
Ages 13-15. This 2-part orientation must be completed by teens prior to using the gym facility. Another option for certification is two sessions with a personal trainer. Contact Laurie Wood at 412-521-8011, ext. 260 to schedule.
A biological age test determines your body's biological age, as opposed to chronological age, when compared with standard biological age markers of the general population. The Bioage assessment includes blood pressure, lung function, girth, aerobic fitness, strength/power, core strength, flexibility, lifestyle, nutrition and body composition analysis. The assessment is performed by JCC Personal Trainer Marsha Mullen, who has an MS in Sports Medicine/Exercise Physiology.
