Group Exercise (SH)
Exercise led by a teacher with others in a class is motivating and fun. The JCC's Group Exercise programs at our South Hills facilities are among the largest and most comprehensive in the Pittsburgh area.
We offer a wide variety of group exercise classes tailored to appeal to adults of all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of fitness. Our facilities are top-notch and our instructors are certified through ACSM or ACE and are CPR-certified.

For wellness through movement, we offer a wide variety of classes including several types of yoga, Pilates and more, as well as dance classes for adults.

Group Exercise Classes
Forget those ordinary old sit-ups. This 30 minute class will take your core workout to another level. Get a core you adore!
Cross train with this high energy, high intensity Cardio Dance workout. Blast your buns and thighs. Interval your cardio workout and kick your plateau.

This total body conditioning class consists of a series of controlled movements that engage the mind and body in developing strong, flexible muscles without adding bulk. Focus on building abdominal strength and flexibility, as well as improving range of motion and postural balance.

Core Ballet Barre
A full body workout incorporating the principles of ballet and Pilates.
Get all the fitness you need--cardio, strength balance and flexibility--in just one hour. With inspiring music, adjustable dumbbells and body weight exercises and simple athletic movements, this class is for everyone.
With a blend of traditional Pilates mat work and an energizing Ballet Barre workout, you will achieve a long lean dancers body with this toning class. Light hand weights and basic barre moves will help you burn calories and sculpt your body from head to toe.
